I didn’t have a screen replaced recently or anything. I woke up this morning and the button worked. Plugged it in to charge up some. Went over to use it again and the home button don’t click or work as a home button. Touch ID works. But that’s it. Any help??? I’ve tried restarting the phone multiple times and I don’t know what else to do

If you manage to regain access to the Settings...General...Accessibility...Assistive Touch...turn on Assistive Touch...Custom Actions...Single-Tap...you will then have a Virtual Home Button and never need to use the mechanical one again...

Sorry forgot to say you should enable Raise to Wake in Settings... Display and Brightness...
Did you try force restart ?
I have no idea why your home button does not work, you can try changing the settings to see if it helps.

I would still like to use my physical button though
I’ve tried hard reset, soft reset, checking the settings. This is my last resort
