For the most part, that is about it. Only you can decide what it is that you want or need. No one else can make that decision for you.

Yes it does and I have an iPhone 8 Plus with 256 GB.

Interesting, since the comparison page I used from the Apple iPhone comparisons does not indicate a 256GB version.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus came with either 64 GB or 256 GB (there was no 128 GB version)

Could have been a change, and as the comparison page indicates, finding something now would be on authorized resellers that may have inventory, but the OP had an 8 Plus anyway.
