Trying to sign into my Apple ID on a Apple TV 3rd gen, os7.5. I have 2 factor ID on. Doesn’t send the verification code to my phone until after I enter password, but doesn’t give option on Apple TV to enter verification code.

First enter your password (do not submit yet). Then manually request a new code. Then append that code to your password. Then submit. That will work.
