FaceTiming Gmail accounts

If someone has a gmail and you want to be able to FaceTime them how do you do it?

You can use FaceTime over Wi-Fi or over cellular on supported iOS or iPadOS devices. To make a FaceTime call, you need the person's phone number or registered email address. In your case, you’ll want to make sure your contact has their Gmail account registered with FaceTime, before initiating the call.
