Software errors in Safari searches and access

Has anyone formally reported this experience of glitches to Apple or Safari?

where searches or engine convert to something you did not mark as setting or ask as choice or preferences in Safari?

Safari error message 'A problem repeatedly occurred with...Reload page,' after install of PSI Secure Browser I had to install the PSI Secure Browser to take a proctored exam. Since the installation I have been getting Safari error messages that read 'A problem repeatedly occurred with...Reload page.' I NEVER got these before and cannot access some websites. I called Apple and they attempted to walk me through removing the PSI program. All we could do is trash it as there was no uninstall option. The problem has persisted and I would like to fix it, and be sure that the PSI program is 100% gone. Ideas?

Safari passing incorrect data to web sites Running Safari 15.0 on OS 11.6 With two different banks and a third government web site, the passwords i entered have been rejected multiple times by the web site. I suspect Safari is passing corrupted user entered data field back to the web sites in use. I switched to Firefox and all worked normally. Anyone else with similar issue? I regularly clear all history on my browsers.

Safari 16.5.2 crashes when I enter 'san' in the address field My Safari version 16.5.2 running on BigSur 11.7.8 will crash reproducibly whenever I type 'san' into the address field. Application Specific Information: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[NSCache setObject:forKey:cost:]: attempt to insert nil value (key: wi:https://www.santander.co.uk/)' terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException My workaround is to disable the 'Include Safari suggestions' in Preferences > Search > Smart Search Field I saw this was reported before for other two characters combinations, so maybe you want to test if my workaround helps you too.

You may have adware/malware installed. Try downloading this program which was written by Thomas R, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware. The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After running the scans, restart the computer.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac 10.10 and later.
