Quick time player stopped working

Trying to open quicktime player.

Keep getting "quicktime player quit unexpectedly." message.

macOS Catalina 10.15

Wondering is it connected to one of the last updates...

Is there anyway to reinstall the program? or fix the issue?

Specifically, check out the section labeled “Test your login items”


Also, testing in another user account can help determine if this may be user or account related settings causing this issue. Here's how you can create a new user for testing:
