ipad pro -- testing products

Hello, I am entering my freshman year of college in the fall and I am debating whether to get an ipad pro with the magic keyboard, or a Macbook Air/Pro. I really would love the ability to write handwritten digital notes, but I don't want to order anything before testing it out. Does anyone know if Apple is doing anything to help customers test products before purchasing them during this time of coronavirus and stores being closed?

You have 14 days to return the product so, right now, I'd suggest make your best guess about which one you want and ordering it. You'll be able to do a much better job testing it at home than you would be able to in a store. If it doesn't suit, return it and order the other. You've got plenty of time before school starts.
