If I buy an ipad without the care pack for $79.99 is there still some sort of warranty on the iPad?

All iPads come with a free, LIMITED, one year warranty.
The limited warranty DOES NOT cover ANY accidental or incidental damage by the user.
ONLY manufacturing and internal hardware defects or failures ONLY.
