trade in iphone

Hi,

I have an iphone that's generally in a good condition but has a small scratch in one corner of the screen. I would like to trade it in but not sure if it's going to be accepted. Is there any way for this to be checked? Also, if I send it and it's not accepted, am I going to be able to get it back? I don't want it to be recycled as it works fine still
