Wrong Apple Pay Account number

So I made a purchase with my Apple Watch and the last four numbers on the receipt was I’m guessing my Apple Pay account number because it wasn’t the last 4 digits to my card. When I went to return one of the items with same receipt the return was made to that specific Apple Pay account number. Problem is when I got home after doing the return I realized the account number on my Apple Pay changed it’s not the same number as the one on the receipt I’ve never taken off my card or anything so I wanna know will that affect my refund going back to my card.
