This is absurd. It is nonstop and never has a solution. Somebody text this already. All the message does is think it’s going to green bar appears across the screen and then message fails. I have trouble shot every which way from Sunday. Somebody needs to fix this **** problem. It makes Apple look moronic

You cannot send iMessages to non-Apple devices. But you knew that. What you send to non-Apple devices is a SMS Message. You also knew that.

SMS Message feature is handled by your carrier and not Apple. Have you contacted your carrier while you were troubleshooting every which way from Sunday? What did they tell you?

Furthermore, have you ensured that in Settings ➔ Messages ➔ Send as SMS is set to ON? AND in the same section MMS is set to ON as well?

Have your Force ReStarted Your iPhone after checking the above settings and calling your carrier as shown here ➔  How to Force ReStart your iPhone ?
