iPad Pro 2020 Battery life

Hi, I just got my iPad Pro 11” and I noticed the battery life doesn’t last as long as they mentioned (10 hours), in fact, when I checked my screen time it was 4 hours, and the battery was 22% by then.

I don’t use cellular data & brightness level was less than half.

is this normal?

If anyone has the same iPad, please tell me about your experience

Quoted battery life is always an optimistic “up to” figure. Reduced screen brightness is more likely to find battery life tending towards the quoted values.

For an iPad Pro with iPadOS 13.x installed, you might expect realistic battery utilisation to be 12-15% per hour (this equates to a maximum battery life of something between 6.7 and 8.3 hrs) for moderately intensive CPU load at about 30% screen brightness.
