Old Credit card Information

Credit card information from an old card no longer in use steel shows up when I try to purchase items the new card doesn’t how do I get rid of the old card information.

Did you try to delete the old card information, using this support article?:--> Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods - Apple Support
