The built in cd player/burner in my PC died. I have an external drive which I am using to import music. I want to burn music to cds but I do not know how to change the configuration in iTunes- it is trying to use the non-functioning cd player/burner. Is there a way to reconfigure?

You are correct. I just "plugged in" the external drive for the first time today. The PC did not recognize it as a burning option until I restarted the PC. Now both drives are showing. Thanks for your help
