Upgrading old iMac OS

I have a mid 2010 iMac (model 11,2) that is currently running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. Is there a later version of operating system that I can use for this older computer? I just bumped it from 4GB to 16GB RAM, would like to get it upgraded as much as I can.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra.

You model of OS is support up to High Sierra macOS 10.13.x. So you can definitely upgrade your OS up until High Sierra.
