On my new iPhone se 2020 I can’t set a live wallpaper is this the only phone or me doing it wrong :)

When you set a Live Photo as wallpaper, touch and hold the Lock screen to play the Live Photo—on all iPhone models except iPhone SE (1st generation).
That would mean either the iPhone SE 2nd Gen is actually supposed to have Live Wallpaper, or this article is not updated, or incorrect. I feel like it's the former; this article says "1st generation", implying that it was updated to reflect the fact that there is now a 2nd generation. If somebody went and added "1st generation" to this article upon the release of the 2nd gen, wouldn't they have mentioned that the new phone did not support Live Wallpaper?
but the apple website says all iphones can support live wallpaper except the se FIRST generation not second so it should work or they are lying
the iphone xr has live wallpapers and it doesn’t have 3D touch- and honestly no matter what it has live wallpapers should be an option bc all u have to do is hold down the screen
but like why? why was it their decision- it would be so easy just to add it
honestly apple , if you were gonna make an se that has the same things like the 11 it should have live wallpaper what a waste and at least upgraded the screen , wasted money for a disappointing phone

No!? But it does support dynamic wallpapers! With absolutely no way of buying, downloading or getting any kinda of app that has dynamic wallpapers!? All apps only have live wallpapers!? Wow
iphone se has a small battery and a exacting chip. I think that's the reason.

The fact is that the iphone SE is the iphone from the apple catalog that has the worst battery life.
I am a (almost) satisfied user of new iphone se, I also use them for work (e-sim) and if they implemented this function I would be totally

This was Apple’s design decision. Very likely, there are financial as well as other considerations.
if it doesn’t support it then can you put that in the next update??? The iPhone 6s and up and do it and it doesn’t make sense why the SE 2nd gen cant
I also went from a 6 to the SE 2020... and I’m really disappointed it doesn’t support it... I might even stop using Apple because of this... it really made me sad and many other dissatisfied....
Yes, it is really annoying and not right. We have the NEWEST phone and it doesn’t support a seemingly simple function a five year old phone can do.
