On my new iPhone se 2020 I can’t set a live wallpaper is this the only phone or me doing it wrong :)

When you set a Live Photo as wallpaper, touch and hold the Lock screen to play the Live Photo—on all iPhone models except iPhone SE (1st generation).
That would mean either the iPhone SE 2nd Gen is actually supposed to have Live Wallpaper, or this article is not updated, or incorrect. I feel like it's the former; this article says "1st generation", implying that it was updated to reflect the fact that there is now a 2nd generation. If somebody went and added "1st generation" to this article upon the release of the 2nd gen, wouldn't they have mentioned that the new phone did not support Live Wallpaper?
Older iPhones have no faceID but yet have live wallpapers. Couldn’t apply put live wallpapers in the next update or something???
This is beyond stupid I spent 6 hours on an edit of my bf and I come to find that this doesn’t work it has the same computer as the 11 so y do u take this out
That is what I’m saying why would Apple just skip new 2020 phone and not have the live effect it is the same as the 11 but the older phones get it

Yep. Bummer not having live wallpaper. I don’t get it. No technical reason it can’t have it. Maybe it’s just not written yet for Haptic Touch on iPhone SE.

But you ask why. Consider that the iPhone SE 2nd generation starts at US$399 while the iPhone 11 starts at US$699. Obviously the iPhone 11 will have many more features.
Can you please just add this feature to the SE 2020 because i just got this phone and i was really dissapointed when i found out that my old iPhone 7 had this but my SE 2020 doesnt
I do somewhat agree with this, however I was not shown when buying that iPhone se and xr would have this feature hidden. That is all.
