iBooks Mac not syncing with iPhone or iPad

Ever since I switched my MacBook, iBooks has stopped syncing with my devices. Whenever I add/open a file to my iBooks app on Mac, it shows the book/file in the uploads section but never seems to get uploaded to iCloud. I have tired everything and still can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciated! I really need to make it work!

can't open icloud files on MacBook (although I can open those files on iPhone) Hi, I'm using iCloud drive on my MacBook [OS X 10.15.1] as well as on my iPhone. On both devices I can see the files, I can browse the folders, I can see the contents in the Finder window, I can open the files on the iPhone BUT I can't open those same files on the Mac: Finder replies the file can't be opened - regardless of file type. I've switched off iCloud drive and switched back on, I've logged out of iCloud and on again - all of this doesn't seem to help. What's next? Regards, Bob

Imac not syncing to Icloud I was trying to add another device to my icloud storage plan, in doing so I logged out of my apple id on my mac and into my partners as the 2TB was set up on her device. When I logged back in on my apple id, initially it appeared as all my desktop files had dissapeared. Over time they started to reappear. However, now when I access a file and make amendments, it dopes not seem top sync upto icloud to make available on other deices. I just get the cloud beside the file and when I hover over it it says uploading but never seems to finish. What am I doing wrong?
