my ex used my macbook and make an a separate user account how can i delete it?

Upper left corner, click the Apple icon then follow this path ->

System Preferences ->

Users & Groups ->

Highlight his username and hit the '-' key.

Obviously, you need to be an Admin user, and you'll need to enter your password.
