Cancel iCloud subscription

I'm no longer using an iPhone and I want to cancel my iCloud subscription. How do I cancel without an apple device?

As per the article https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT202039

If you don't have an Apple device

To see or cancel your subscriptions, use iTunes on a Windows PC or follow the steps for your Android device or other device.

So basically there is no way for me to stop being charged for a subscription on a device (with an ID) I no longer have/use without downloading Apple's software and then logging in on that obsolete account? This is very frustrating and feels coercive by Apple. I have never once seen a subscription that you can't cancel on the web, or by phone, but you need to download software you otherwise wouldn't. Shame on Apple.
