For over a month now, when I get notifications on my watch, I look at it on my wrist and it starts to open the notification and then immediately closes the notification before I can read it. It doesn't seem to be happening with Messages, only other notifications and it doesn't necessarily happen with every single one. Any ideas?

If those steps don't help, I'd also disable and then enable Notifications for any app that is showing this behavior.

I have restarted both devices, there's even been iOS and WatchOS updates done since the issue started. I also went into the Watch app and turned off the notifications for those Apps like you mentioned and then turned them back on, unfortunately it's still happening. What else can I try?

After trying those steps, the next thing that comes to mind is to uninstall the affected apps, and then reinstall them. If that doesn't work, you'll want all eight steps in this article: Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support (the "Disconnect your devices" section).
