how do you force macbook pro to shut down? Theres no power button.

There's no power button? The black power button is on to the right of the Touch Bar. Hold it down and it will force shut down the system.

The power button is the same button that you use for your finger print. Press it harder than just touching it.

just hold down the touch id sensor next to function keys or the touch bar for 10-20 secs
