IPod is disabled, connect to ITunes

My son entered the wrong code too many times.

Now getting on my ITouch (no idea on generation #, guessed below):

"IPod is disabled, connect to ITunes"

Of course it does not connect to ITunes.

How do i fix?

How do i disable this horrible feature? I rather have my sons finger very sore trying to guess the code.

This is another Apple nightmare!

Hello,

Unfortunately you must now fully restore your iPod to factory settings.
