Why part of the verification asking for address, name date of birth and social security

Just got an email for a purchase I didn’t do, to canceled is asking to verify

my name, address, date of birth and social security, is that normal ?

No. It is a phishing scam. If you entered your Apple password in responding to the email, change it immediately. See: Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support

and

If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support


If you entered your credit card information, contact your credit card issuer.
