Charging the new IPad Pro 12.9 4th Generation

Hi,


I wish to know what will happen if I will charge my new IPad Pro 2020 with my MacBook Pro Touch Bar version charger, they are both USB-C of course. can it cause damage to the IPad because the differences in voltage?

The iPad can be charged with any of the MacBook USB-C chargers. It will charge a bit faster though. But the iPad cannot be over charged. The USB-C MAcBook Pro chargers can be used to charge an iPad without any issues.

  • Apple 18W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, or 96W USB-C Power Adapter
