I stumbled upon an old computer with a blue screen when looking through my finder its located in the network section under location. It starts with a "hpce" and when I double click it it says connection failed. I know its not my wifi so what is it? I can't delete it either.

In Sys Prefs>Sharing what all is enabled?
I'm thinking it some hp PC advertising services, but how could they be on the same local network that you're connected to?
Do you have an HP printer? That was the same window in the last discussion I saw here (which I'm unable to find right now).
You will need to ask HP - we had the same question here a couple of weeks ago and their image was exactly the same. So this is your printer with an HP image - they must have assigned that image (my guess).
Not much of a network if it's just the one person connected to it. Why would it be difficult to believe there are other people connected to their network with other type devices? Maybe it's a family member's computer. Maybe someone in the household has brought in an HP laptop from their work.
It's not hard to believe, it is hard for me to see, it's why I asked how could they be on the same local network. :)

I have two apple tablets and all our phones are apple devices. The only other device inside the home is a chrome tablet but its not really here since my husband takes it for work.
Yes I do have an hp officejet printer but wouldn't the icon be a printer and not refer to it as PC? When ever I print I have the printer logo show up on doc.
