AirPods glitching while playing music

I had talked with a lady a week ago on what to do with my connectivity and she helped a little bit, but the glitch and distortion has gotten worse.

I will be on an app and next thing I know my music glitches, almost static, and then the app will close its self. I have no clue what I have done to my AirPods. Help please this has happened a lot. :(
