My AirPods will not connect to my iPhone

I just got AirPods and they are charged shows green light but it will not connect to my iPhone and I cannot reset it either what can I do?

If your already put a cover on the charge case, take it off so you have proper access to the button on the back, then follow these instructions:

Otherwise, tell us exactly what you are doing and what happens, for example, any error warnings.

Test if you can pair them with any other Bluetooth device. This will narrow down if the issue is the AirPods or the device.


Note that Bluetooth can be switched off permanently in Settings, but it also can be switched off in Control Center, so check (blue icon = On).


Try these two troubleshooting methods. Perform a Restore only if Restart doesn't solve your issue.
