iPhone SE 2020 photo colors too vivid

I'm an artist and I use my iPhone to take photos of the pieces I sell. My husband bought me a iPhone SE 2020 to replace my SE. However, when uploading the SE 2020 photos, they are extremely vivid, oversaturated, and not true-to-life. My old SE took good photos with true-to-live colors. Attached is a comparison. (This is not one of my pieces btw, it's a Scott Naismith print.)

Is there anyway to change this in-phone? If I adjust the images in photoshop I have to both desaturate and lighten the images, which is very annoying. I get that some people would up the saturation in their photos anyway and thus find this desirable, but for my purposes it's bad.

Hello Cat423.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that your photos appear oversaturated and you have to edit them. I’m happy to help.

Please try the steps here to disable HDR: Use HDR on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Let me know the results.

Take care.

This link is not valid :(

I have the same situation as the person above. I sell products and must have accurate color representation. My 6s was always great but having to edit each photo taken with the SE2020 is so frustrating, especially since I thought I was getting a better camera.

Please advise!

I have the exact same situation. So frustrating when you need to have accurate color and every photo has to be edited to look true-to-life. Don't understand why this was never as issue with my 6s but is a big problem on my new SE2020. Discouraging for sure.

Even just candid photos outside look technicolor. The fake oversaturated look looks terrible to me. I had a Pixel 3 before this phone and can't believe how much I've downgraded my camera.

It seems more likely that it's software than hardware. My guess is that it's a filter that I don't want it to be run through. Is there another camera app that can be used?
