Itunes redeem

I have a iTunes card that says it’s not properly activated… Is there a special way I can get it activated?

If you can't redeem your App Store & iTunes Gift Card, Apple Music Gift Card, or content code - Apple Support explains some troubleshooting steps, and provides how to get help from Apple Support.
