education discount

I have a question about the hundred dollar off Apple products. It says that the requirements are to be in college, an educator, or homeschooler. My mother is homeschooling me because of the Coronavirus. If she were to buy a MacBook to help us in teaching me and my brother, does that count towards the hundred dollar difference?
