Activating iPhone.

Hello! I was thinking about getting an unlocked iPhone 7 from amazon. I don’t have a sim card to activate it with, and I don’t have a carrier of course. I was trying to find ways to activate it without a sim, and I can’t burrow a friend’s because of the current world situation, I saw that you can use iTunes to activate it on a computer. (connecting it to my computer with the charger and going to iTunes.) I wanted to know if this is even possible and I could successfully activate my iPhone with iTunes and no sim, thank you!

Oh alright. I was wondering because Walmart sells stuff like that, I think only their brand but it has the phone and sim I believe. Somebody I know said they did that and it worked but they weren’t much help, not too sure if I can do that. (this wasnt showing as posted before sorry I asked pretty much the same thing.)

I don’t really want to pay for a carrier. I just need to activate it and I’d be okay using it no sim. I know somebody who was able to do it with like a phone from simplemobile is it? The walmart brand or whatever. They didn’t have to activate the phone according to what they said. If I did that would it work?

You cannot activate an iPhone without a nano-SIM, period.

SIM can be old, used but must be valid.

Thanks, but another question, sorry. I know some places sell the iphone as carrier locked with a sim. If I were to buy one with a carrier that comes with a sim, would that sim work?
