App Store Asking For Incorrect Apple ID

Ever since I updated my iPad to the newest iPadOS I've had a very irritating issue.

Upon my devices update, it asks me to verify all my Apple ID and iTunes information. I do so with seemingly no issues. I then notice one of my apps now needs an update, so I open the App Store. On the right hand corner I see my profile icon and tap it, I am logged in. Once I select the app to update, it then prompts me with a "If you have an Apple ID sign in with it here." and provides me with a space for only a password. Bare in mind, I'm already signed in. So, I go ahead and enter the password. It then tells me "Open Settings to continue signing in with "wrongAppleID@wrong.com" and displays an Apple ID that this device has NEVER been associated with. For humor's sake, I click Settings as prompted and it takes me to my iTunes and App Store settings. Where it once again displays the CORRECT Apple ID.

Before prompted, I've already signed out and signed back in on both my Apple ID settings and the settings in iTunes and App Store. Same issue. This issue has now transferred to my other 2 iPhones. It is preventing me from updating any of my apps. The incorrect Apple ID doesn't seem to show ANYWHERE apart from when it gives me the error in the App Store.

I am by no means apple illiterate. I'm certain the issue has come from some backup from years ago when I was associated with that Apple ID. I understand the source of the issue, now I need help in solving it.

One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Purchase History Review.

Or you can try to set up Family Sharing to keep access to your purchases.
