Why do I have such a hard time connecting to HomePod every single time?

It doesn’t let me play my music for my phone. It doesn’t show up. Even when it’s connected to the WiFi.

HomePod, 13

You might need to check your Airplay settings, try “Everyone”

Use HomePod with AirPlay - Apple Support

troubleshoot your network:

  • on your iPhone in settings - Reset- Reset Network Settings
  • Reboot your wifi Router

Additionally, you can also use Handoff, by placing your phone near the HomePod
