Problem on Smart control - nothing enabled

How have the tracks been created? Did you create them a new tracks from scratch, or did you use "New Track with duplicate Settings"? Whenever I used the second method the tracks have been behaving strangely.

I would recreate the problematic tracks as new tracks and copy and paste the regions from the old tracks to the new tracks to save them.

I cannot tell from your first screenshot, if any plug-ins are enabled for the audio track. The screenshot is showing the plug-ins as closed.

Could could you please check, in the smart controls, if the standard plug-ins are still added to the track? Click the disclosure triangle to the left of Plug-ins, so you can see, which plug-ins have been added to the track. The Plug-ins are creating the controls.

You should at least be seeing Compressor and Channel EQ. If they are missing, click into the empty Plug-In section and try to add the Plug-ins back. Is it possible?

Does a new track have the correct smart controls? Try this in your current project and in a new project for testing. This will tell you, if the current project or tracks in the project are damaged or if there is a more general problem with garageBand on your Mac.

Have you already tried to click the "Edit (Modifica)" button at the bottom of the smart controls to see, if the track haas been modified?

Yes, try that. I have not found any way to use tracks "with duplicate settings" at all. They are always strangely linked to other tracks and cannot be controlled individually.
