Quicken for Mac won't start -- why?
I am running downloaded 5.15.3 for Mac on 2017 iMac Retina 4K 21.5", 3 GHz Intel Core i5, OS X Mojave 10.14.6. For the last several versions of Quicken and Mac OS X, if I quit Quicken or if restart necessary for any reason, it is virtually impossible to open the program again. Generally wind up calling up or chatting with Quicken support and have to go through a process involving conversion of data file, trashing this and that, etc. etc. If anyone has any insight into how and why this problem developed, whether it is more likely to be a Mac problem than a Quicken problem, and whether there is a fix for it that they have successfully used themselves I would be delighted and grateful to hear about it.
