Apple should stop telling people it's water-resistance. I don't see people getting their MacBooks or iPad wet?

There isn't benefit for anyone, for saying a phone is water-resistance to IP68, means immersion, yet, telling customer it's not covered under warranty if water does get in? Yet tell customer it's ok to rinse it under tap?

So, customer must walk around thinking that it's not safe around water thus must as well not advertise water-resistance at all?
