Deleted imessage

Im not sure how but my texts with someone got deleted. It was over a year and half worth of conversations so how can I get them back?

If you have a backup with these messages, you can restore it to a spare device, then sync it to the main phone.

Delete a message or conversation

When you delete a message or conversation, you can't get it back. So make sure that you save important information from your messages.
