Numbers: Simple Selection of Contents from Multiple Cells

Hi MonkeyMagic,

I see the problem. To show Bullets & Lists, the cursor must be inside a cell.

Since the cursor can not be in more that one cell at once, that is the gremlin.

The good news:

Insert another column (B in this example) in the table.

Click twice in cell B2 to insert the cursor and bring up Bullets & Lists just to check.

Column B has Bullets & Lists > None.

All is good.

Select and copy column A, select column B and Menu > Edit > Paste and Match Style:

Delete column A

Done!

P.S. If, perchance, the new column adopts the style of the bulleted column, you may want to insert a new table and Paste and Match Style into the new table. The new table will be "clean".

Hi MonkeyMagic and Badunit,

I did create a No Bullet style and applied it to bulleted cells, but it failed to remove the bullets. I am puzzled as to why Table Styles in the inspector are named as Paragraph Styles when clicking on the disclosure triangle 🤔.

Hmm... the thot plickens, as Spooner would say.

Clever. Adding onto it, it appears that this alternate method also works:

1. Change the style of the first one to remove the bullet.
2. Select all of them
3. Copy
4. Paste & Match Style (back to the same cells that are still selected).

Alternate #2 that should not work:

1. Select and copy all of them
2. Paste and Match Style back to the same selected cells without doing anything else first

That shouldn't work but the bullets are disappearing for me.
