some keys not working in safari

Hi I have a website and if I try to fill in forms on this website in Safari, some keys are not functioning, like the letter e. I already complained at the owner, no response, and it is still not working. In Chrome the web page is working fine. Can I change some settings to have it working properly? Already tried a different key board via settings, not helping.

Thanks a lot.

Hello Ron_4 and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you are having an issue with being able to input certain characters in a specific website using the Safari browser. There are a few steps you can take to at least isolate what may be causing the behavior.

1) Safe launch the Safari app by holding down the Shift key whilst launching the app.

2) Do a safe boot of the Mac. This will clear some cache files and give you a good foundation. After doing the safe boot, reboot normally and test.

3) If the issue persists after a safe boot, set up a test user account in order to isolate the issue to the system or the user data and ultimately resolve it.

Cheers.
