Transfer Notes From Another Apple ID

First off, I have learning challenges, so if there is something I am not understanding, please be willing to walk me through it. So I have an iPhone, a MacBook Pro, and I use iCloud. And I have two emails I use. One email is for any personal information, and the other is for subscriptions. I have my MacBook Pro registered under my email for subscriptions. When I got my iPhone, I accidentally registered it under my email for personal information. So I have two Apple IDs (different devices). My goal and what I need help with is figuring out how to transfer the notes from the Notes app from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro. So this is what I tried.

I tried opening the Notes app on my computer and I opened my other account. To do this, I went in the Notes menu from the menu bar, clicked Accounts, clicked on the plus sign on the sidebar to add my other account, but I didn't know what to do after that. I also went on iCloud, logged on as my subscription email, and I was able to the access all of my notes accordingly, but I have at least 70 notes. I don't think there is a download option. There is for Photos on iCloud but not for Notes. I can copy and paste the text, but the formatting changes, and there are so many to download. Is there a faster method for me to get all of the notes on my computer?

Hello BriVester and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you are having an issue moving Notes data associated with one Apple ID on an iPhone to a different Apple ID that is being used on a Mac.

The Account option under the Notes menu is just a shortcut to the Internet Accounts pane of System Preferences where you can add another internet account. However, you can't have more than one iCloud account on a given device.

As you've already discovered, you can sign in to the 2nd (i.e., iPhone) Apple ID on the Mac and you can copy and paste Notes data. But at this time, there is no option for downloading Notes data from iCloud. The copy and paste method will be the only supported option.

Cheers.
