Find My iPhone vs Share My Location

What is the difference between “Find My iPhone” and “Share My Location”?

I see an arrow frequently showing my location is being tracked. When I go to settings, privacy, location services, system services, sometimes I see an arrow next to “find my iPhone” and sometimes next to “share my location”.

Which one means someone is tracking me if I gave them unlimited access in “find my friends”?

Find My iPhone permits you to possibly track it should it be lost or stolen, if it's powered on and connected to a network.

Share my Location permits people to see where you are IF you grant them permission to see where you are.
