Why are my videos going into iCloud right away?? I'll be editing a project, download the videos needed and if I come back the next day, the videos have been added to my icloud account and show up as blanks on my timeline. Is this happening to anybody else?
If you’re using iCloud Photo Library, that’s where they’re going. Import videos andPhotos directly from your camera to FCP so they’re stored locally.

I dragged them out of Photos onto my desktop then import them into FCPX
Where is your video stored? Where is your library located? Post screenshots.

This suggests that you have "Documents and Desktop in iCloud".
If you want to keep this feature, copy your videos somewhere else on your drive - for example, the Movies folder.
