Activation of iMessage

I allowed my new iPhone to send 23 messages for iMessage activation beacause it wasn’t activating and it still won’t and i got charged money which it says it would but I didn’t know that i would get charged for everytime i agree to this notification. And I don’t know what to do and im to scared to turn my iMessage on now.

If you are logged in to iMessage it will periodically send status updates to a server in the UK. Apple partner carriers don’t charge for these messages (you don’t even see them), but if you are being charged the only option is to disable iMessage and FaceTime (which has the same scenario).

  • Go to Settings/Messages. Turn it on if it is off. Tap Send & Receive, then tap your Apple Id and tap Sign Out.
  • Go to Settings/FaceTime. Turn it on if it is off. Tap on your Apple ID and Sign Out.
