Is there a charging icon on the Apple Watch when it’s not charging that shows how much battery is left?

Apple watch battery status Is there a way to check the battery charge status? I know when I take the watch off the charger for a split second there is a circle showing that indicates charge level. But that display lasts less than a second so you have to look quick. Also, first thing in mornings my iPhone has a message if the watch is fully charged. But how can I check the charge level other times?

Yes - you can go in and customize the watch face in certain faces - the icon will them appear in one of the corners

Just swipe up from the watch face screen and the battery % number is there in the control centre.
