When i try to pair my apple watch after it says connecting to apple watch it immediately says unpairing apple watch ive tried signing out of icloud and restarting my phone and apple watch and reseting network settings everything ive found just wont work
Try this;
Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for about 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.Wait a few seconds, then hold down just the side button for about 20 seconds or until the “erase all settings” prompt shows up on the screen, then click it, then click the green check button.

Which model of watch is it?
And what software version is on each device?.
my phone is a iphone x and the watch is a serise 4 and my phone is on ios 13.5 and i think my watch is on watch os 6 but its been so long that it could be on watch os 5
Was it paired to another phone? and did you remove the watch from this phone's icloud account?.
It was never paired to another phone and i did remove it from my icloud in a attempt to pair it
