I've had my iPhone xr for 2 months and when I picked up the phone this morning the back glass was cracked I know for a fact the phone has not been dropped or bashes and after a little investergating I see that this is a very common fault for this phone. Will apple replace this for FREE?

There's no warranty for user damages.
If you have Apple Care +, you pay a much reduced fees.
You can say what you want, back glass don't break on its own.
FYI: I also have an iPhone XR since day one (October 2018) and no issue here.
Anyway we are only Apple user here, no need to convince me.

This is not a user damage issue. I have read hundreds of stories from around the world from people who have experienced the same fault and it seems apple is 1 not accepting responsibility for shoddy materials used and 2 making a lot of extra money charging customers for repairs. Surely apple care more about giving their customers a well made product rather than extorting extra money for repairs and risk loosing all those customers.
