iTunes Plus

I got a bluetooth device and it says my music is blocked by DRM. It says i have to buy iTunes Plus but I pay for Apple Music. What do I do?

How come songs I’ve uploaded via CD’s I’ve purchased aren’t available in such instances? Do they have to be purchased through iTunes specifically?

Also curious if there’s a way when subscribed to Apple Music to distinguish which songs aren’t DRM protected and available to such apps/devices. It would be great to have a filter added to an iTunes update to simplify searching.
