Apple TV box 3rd Gen TODAY stopped working on Panasonic Viera TV but works on other TVs fine

Hi All,

My Apple TV Box (3rd Gen) today 4/5/2020 has stopped working with my Panasonic Viera TV. It was absolutely fine yesterday and has only happened today.

I have tried it on other TVS and it works fine so I know it is not the Apple Box but has there been an update and maybe Panasonic Viera does not support my Apple TV Box?

Am in desperate need to find an answer and even better resolution as my two young kids absolutely need this right now to pass time indoors on lockdown - Thanks to all those who may be able to help and wishing everyone good health :-)

Ensure both the Apple TV and the TV have up-to-date version of their system software. First update the Apple TV's firmware and then check the TV's. If both are 100% up-to-date then you can try a reset on the Apple TV, if that does not work then I'm out of ideas.

If you use different HDMI cables n each TV the that is where I would start looking.

As you have confirmed the issue is not with the Apple TV. The only other thing to try on the Panasonic is connecting to other HDMI ports.

Thank you so much for replying to quick, i have tried it with a brand new hdmi lead and still the same. I am sure it related to compatibility with my Panasonic Veira tv but why now I have no idea? Are you aware of issues with the apple box tv and panasonic veira tv's or has there been a recent update? I really appreciate your help, like I ay with two kids and the situation as it is having Netflix and other apps is so important.

Thanks for your help again, both of these I have also done and still nothing. Honestly I am so confused and lost with this one and why its just happened and how to fix it. I really appreciate you trying to help
