Is it worth replacing a keyboard in a 7 years old MacBook Pro
I am wondering if it is worth spending about $350 to replace a keyboard on my old MacBook Pro. My MacBook is about 7 years old. I have replaced the hard drive and the cable in the last couple of years. My keyboard stopped working and several keys are not responding. I took it in to an authorized service dealer and they think that most likely I will be replacing the keyboard and it will cost about $350 including labor and parts. Should I spend this money? The computer has been functioning fine until now although the fans are turning on almost constantly when I am teaching remotely using the computer using Zoom etc.
